The Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA), AFL-CIO and the Orange County Labor Federation, with financial assistance provided by the Berger Marks Foundation, is proud to host the first APALA Women’s Organizing Institute from August 6-8, 2010. Participants will be trained by some of the most seasoned Asian Pacific American women union organizers in the country.

The working Californians who would be harmed by Whitman and Fiorina’s anti-worker Wall Street agenda chanted and waved signs declaring that 'California will not be sold to the highest bidder.'
